Small Business Photography: Extra Special Touch

Small Business Photography: Extra Special Touch

I love photographing independent creatives in their workspace, and so Mirror Imaging has recently launched our 'Small Business Photography Package'. It's designed to make beautiful, bespoke photography accessible to sole traders or small start-ups, on which they can base or update their website, uplift their instagram feed and provide them with natural, dynamic portraits that are so much more alive than a formal headshot.

Last week we met up with the lovely Heidi of Extra Special Touch, who embroiders Nottingham lace, linen, cotton and pure silk into beautiful wedding keepsakes, personalised bridal accessories and artisan gifts. Since we first met she's steadily grown her business, doubling turnover each year, all from her delightful home-studio in Nottinghamshire. She now receives commissions from top wedding planners, her monogrammed linen and exquisite garters are in demand, and she employs two other working mums to help with the steady stream of orders. Everything she does is with care and attention to detail, finally wrapping each order by hand in her boxes and ribbon.

If you're an artisan supplier, small business or sole trader who would benefit from a collection of compelling, bespoke images then take a look at our photography package - designed just for you.

I would show my photographs to friends and family and the response was often ‘oh wow!’ and this instant positive reaction, now given by my clients, has never lost its appeal. The world through a lens seemed larger than life and I was able to observe detail I’d not seen before - I was hooked...
